Relationship Counsellor

We are looking for a like-hearted and minded associate to join our team!

You are:

  • Relationship counsellor experienced with couples and dyads

  • RCC with the BCACC, RSW would be considered

  • Two Spirit, Queer, and/or Trans

  • Anti-oppressive, harm-reduction approach

  • Willing to be trained in and adhere to feminist therapy practices

  • Able to work virtually in BC

  • Preference given to IBPoC and those living with disability

  • FNHA provider registration an asset

  • Specialized training in PTSD and complex trauma recovery is necessary, as Wildwood has a trauma recovery focus

We are:

Trauma therapy in BC

EMDR Practitioner

We are looking for an EMDRIA certified associate to join our team!

You are:

  • EMDRIA certified RCC able to work virtually in BC

  • Trained in somatics, parts work, and complex trauma

  • Two Spirit, Queer, and/or Trans OR strongly allied and knowledgeable about 2SLGBTQIA+ culture

  • Anti-oppressive, harm-reduction approach

  • Willing to be trained in and adhere to feminist therapy practices

  • Interested in part-time or full-time work

  • Wanting to set your own schedule

  • Wanting to build long-term relationships with your coworkers

  • Preference given to IBPoC and those living with disability

  • FNHA provider registration an asset

Student Intern

We currently have no openings for trainees, but in future will have space for a Two Spirit, queer, or trans student intern who is a recent graduate or in their final year of study in a clinical counselling program.

Student interns are supervised by Anja Hess, RCC, clinical director and owner of Wildwood Therapy. Student interns receive weekly training, supervision, and team consultation. They provide general counselling, trauma recovery prep, and gender-affirming care plus additional tasks as needed.
