Client Services, Group Therapy

If you’re a non-status Indigenous person, groups with Rae are pay-what-you-can.

Rae is your first point of contact when first exploring accessing services at Wildwood. Rae is a settler on the land of the Lekwungen-speaking People and grew up in South Africa, immigrating to so-called Canada as a young adult. She has a big heart for those who want to explore their relationship to culture including grief, reconnection, change, and oppression. As Client Coordinator, Rae can help you:

  • Choose a therapist

  • Book appointments

  • Navigate payment

  • Sign into your client account

  • Answer your questions

  • and much more!

Rae also offers peer support as a group facilitator in Wildwood’s training program under the supervision of Kandice Simons, RCC and Anja Hess, RCC. They come to our Gender Joy group with lived experience and a degree in gender studies from the University of Cape Town.

Rae's main gig is as a “hair-apist” in a hair salon and is known for their friendly, open, and goofy personality. In their spare time, Rae enjoys spending time with loved ones, playing soccer, and she also enjoys being quiet with a collage or knitting project.

Get in touch through our contact page or book a free matching session to meet Rae.
