At Wildwood, Counselling Therapy takes place via phone or video. We offer affordable therapy with an intern or group and specialized counselling or PTSD recovery services with a clinical specialist.

Counselling Therapy can help you to work through significant life challenges and trauma, explore personal growth, or learn new coping skills to improve your mental health and sense of well-being.

Individual Counselling Therapy is suitable for those who may want to engage in deep self-reflection with their counsellor OR for those who want short-term support.

Dyadic Counselling is suitable for couples, siblings, or friends who want to deeper their bond by receiving support for things like communication, emotional connection, neurodivergence, and trauma.

Family Therapy is offered on a short-term basis and our family therapist, Lauren Kniewasser, RCC, requires one 50-minute session with each member before booking group sessions, which are 80 minutes.

When we have trainees, our sliding scale rates are available for short-term general counselling with a mental health intern. Topics to explore include 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming care, anxiety and depression, relationships, and trauma recovery prep.

We currently don’t have students offering low-cost individual therapy at the moment. Check out our groups to learn about free and low-cost group therapy options.
