Mandy Woelfle, Counselling Intern

She/They

Counselling Intern, Low-Cost Therapy

I am available for free consultations for a mid-June start.

If you’re a non-status Indigenous person, sessions with me are pay-what-you-can.

Hi! I’m a queer, white settler, originally from Treaty 7 Territory (southern Alberta), and currently residing on the land of the lək̓ʷəŋən-speaking and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples (Victoria). I am completing a Master of Counselling degree through City University of Seattle and I offer low-cost counselling sessions supervised Wildwood’s clinical director, Anja Hess, RCC #18489.

I encourage compassion and respect for the ways that you have been coping. Together, we can create space for you to explore new ways of coping that are more authentic to your current beliefs, emotions, and the truths felt deep within your body. I am neurodivergence-affirming and my goal is to help you cultivate trust in your inner wisdom as you navigate:

  • Gender Identity

  • Racism and Bullying

  • Systemic Oppression

  • Anxiety and Depression

  • Disordered Eating and Body Image

  • Connection and Boundaries

  • 2SLGBTQIA+ Experiences

  • Non-Traditional Relationship Structures

  • and more

When I’m not nerding out on media about psychology or relationships, I feed my soul through swimming, writing, making art, and playing songs on my ukulele. I live for deep discussions in community circles and laughing until I cry. I love dancing, dopamine dressing, and indulging my extroverted side in loud, bright, artsy events as much as adore a cozy night in with my partner and my two beloved Siamese kittens.

If you think I might be a fit, I hope we get to meet soon! Please note that I’m an active member of the queer community in so-called Victoria.

While working as a pre-licensed professional, I work will be fully supervised by, Anja Hess, RCC. Anja’s license number is 18489.
